Counselling is not a quick-fix or a magic formula for solving the challenges in your life. Rather, counselling is an opportunity to pause in a safe space. It is an opportunity to take a deep breath. It is a process in which you work collaboratively with your counsellor to develop goals for growth, explore ways to reach those goals, and to grow in a deeper understanding of yourself. Counselling is provided through a lens of compassion, kindness, confidentiality and non-judgement. As you work together with your counsellor you will learn new strategies and new ways of thinking about yourself and the world around you.
